Happy Birthday, Pisces!
The Sun has now entered your birth sign, and I would imagine that you feel a whole lot better. A long, or was it a short, year is coming to a close, and another is beginning. This happens for you at a momentous time. Within a few days from now, Chiron makes its ingress into Aquarius for the first time since 1955 (Chiron was last in Aquarius between 1955 and 1961). In the words of William Butler Yates, "Surely some revelation is at hand."
For years now, Neptune, the planet often associated with Pisces, has been in Aquarius, your 12th solar house. This is a potentially nerve-racking position because when something reaches the 12th house, it can push us to the edge; and with Neptune, it can feel like being near an edge you cannot see. Yet Chiron seems poised to reveal what has, until now, been invisible. And I think it will reveal how much of what you knew in advance was actually true.
This is a point of beginning for you, a time of focusing your mind and your life; a time of heightened awareness; a time of developing the most intense self-understanding you've ever known. At this point, you stand on the brink of who you truly are. Are you ready? I think you are. Are you willing? You have no choice, because the time is upon you. There will be moments when you will look at the world and see it as a different place; many times, as well, when you will look at yourself and see an entirely different person.
The extended presence of Uranus in your birth sign suggests that a long revolution is underway in your perceptions, consciousness and experience of life. Often Pisces has quiet revolutions, ones that occur deep in the misty Yin world of dreams, poetry, music and pleasure. More often, Pisces merely dreams of what can be. Many, many factors point to time of action and an experience of creativity. Many factors will help you transcend the fear and hesitancy so often associated with your sign. Something about you now has the power to push others to be a little more free.
If there is a revolution happening in your relationships, it is about developing a clear understanding of who is who, and what is what. A stunning conjunction in your anniversary chart between the Sun, Uranus and Juno, the planet of relationships and marriage, suggests strongly that if you have the creativity and the nerve to set the terms of your own relationships, based purely on what you need, want and can live with, you are more likely than ever to have those terms be met by people who want little other than to see you happy.

Happy Birthday, Pisces!
It's been a long time since you could view life with unmitigated optimism, but then, you're not feeling very much like yourself lately. Yet you are getting accustomed to the new energy that is filling you up and very likely overflowing into the world around you. Just be sure you remember that this is all different, and it's supposed to be.
Yet if you recognize just how different, I could see you having some concern that the spell will break, though the contrary seems to be true: whatever strength or energy has found its way to your world is not getting anything except stronger. But this calls on you to keep your awareness and involvement in your own life working at near peak. Each day you must wake up and reinvent yourself, while somehow continuing with what you were doing yesterday.
And you need to push your impact onto others in the most positive and liberating way. You are no longer the passive person in your relationships. You are, to the contrary, the inventor, the creator, the leader and the keeper of the energy. Many other astrological factors are allowing you to contain and focus your energy; but you need to be the one who is guiding yourself to constant expression. This is an unusual posture for Pisces, who too often are able to let life happen to them and then adapt to what comes their way.
There is a belief in this world that too much freedom is a bad thing. It is not usually spoken, but it's clearly something that is being poured into the water supply right now, and vibed through all the media. Many people panic at the mere thought of freedom, because so much responsibility is implied. You not only can do better, you must, and you will.
Rise to the occasion of your own life. Match the considerable investment the universe is making in you, with dedication, talent and faith in yourself — and most of all, the belief that change is possible and inevitable — and the results will be fabulous.

Happy Birthday, Pisces!
We live on this swiftly tilting planet, and you are not living your life at any ordinary time in history. In strange times, brilliant potential exists. It's a good thing that you are so creative, because creativity is exactly what it takes both to survive in this world, and to thrive.
The line between the two — between getting by, and doing it well — is a lot thinner than most people are aware of, or let on. The distinction is often a state of mind: an approach to the question and the puzzle of existence. To enter a creative state of mind, it's necessary not to be bound by what has come in the past. In fact, that's the most important aspect of the process; from there, opening up and letting something new happen is not a great leap, but it's a very good one.
The beginnings and endings have come at a brisk pace the past couple of years, as Pluto has been so active in your solar chart. How much have you left behind? But more to the point, who has come along and remained with you on your journey? These are the people who will see you through any changes you encounter, or choose to initiate, and be present for the life you create. There will be new people, too, as this is a genuinely dynamic time in your life and that is creating personal magnetism for you (a fact true for all Pisces, as Uranus in Pisces is extraordinarily compelling). But the people who are with you now are, in the most human or cosmic sense, your true family.
Change of a certain very deep kind is in the air, though it has as much the feeling of inner change as outer. The Moon is in the end of its cycle the week of your solar return, meaning that your birthday occurs during the last quarter or extreme waning cycle. Something, a phase of your life, and an entire corresponding identity, is drawing to a close. Yet there is a logical conclusion to everything that has happened over so long a period of time, and you can trust that logic. When you find yourself standing there, you'll look back and say of course this is what it was all leading up to. For now, a bit of mystery may persist, which is part of life's allure.
It's unlikely that you've walked through this lifetime with the feeling of being a great innovator, or one whose job is to change the world. But slowly that role is making itself known to you, though as you're seeing, you are changing the world by changing yourself and letting the potential spread like ripples in water.
I have no doubt that in these years you have learned something about riding with the tide and going with the flow — particularly from the experiences where you happened not to do that. The mind simply must be flexible to be happy, and as a Pisces, particularly one born so late in your sign, this is your specialty. It's true that you must also work within certain limits. But you have an unusual way of transcending those limits when you need to. There always seems to be something that intervenes on your behalf — so you can gently set your fears aside, be willing to live the life you want, and see what happens.

Happy Birthday, Pisces!
You don't need an explanation for the developments that are quickly coming into your life; you need, I think, to breathe every breath and meet every person you encounter with your eyes open — and let any possibility be real. Existence certainly has a larger-than-life feeling at the moment, or stranger than life, or more beautiful. Or perhaps more fragile. All of this is true.
Yet what you are living is only and always life; your life. Though it may seem strange to think of yourself as the source of all this experience, that is a far more natural way for you to relate to the genuinely extraordinary times that are ahead than any other. What is happening is intimately connected to your responses. Your responses create experiences, to a real degree; and your perceptions allow you to see certain things and not others. At this point, all you need to do is make your decisions one at a time, and remember that each 'major' decision is really a series of smaller choices that add up to the larger ones.
Those born during the last week of Pisces will be moving into the peak of their Pluto square the Sun transit. Pluto is now in the late degrees of Sagittarius; your natal Sun is in the late degrees of Pisces. So, if you're born around March 11 or 12, you are currently in the peak of this transit; if you're born from March 14 through 16 you are going into the peak, and if you're born later, you will reach the peak over the next few years, but are most likely feeling the intensity build, and there is much you can do to synchronize yourself with the changes that are coming.
This transit is what, during my last astrology reading, the astrologer working with my chart called the 'ultimate transformation'. True, it's not quite Pluto conjunct the Sun, which people born in late Sagittarius are going through. But it's not exactly a fair match, since most Sagittarians have an indomitable strength of constitution that most Pisceans parallel with overwhelming sensitivity. This sensitivity is your strength, it's your safety net, and it's your most dependable vehicle for relating to the world — but sensitivity it is, no matter how useful it may be.
Pluto square the Sun has a kind of get-tough message, but Pisces-styled, tough means flexible, strong and willing to see the possibilities. Such a powerful aspect to the Sun falls in the category of 'coming to terms with yourself' developments and that, for a Pisces, can be challenging. You could say, 'coming to terms that you are a self' or 'that you have a self'. There is certainly an energy of definition, of peeling back the layers, and of taking a true evolutionary step.
When in doubt, though, I suggest you retreat to a space of ease rather than a space of intensity or labor. The New Moon trine Saturn on March 10 suggests that gentle is the way to success. This is a powerful omen that what you focus on will grow, and that there is a direct blessing of some kind of authority — perhaps a reward for having come to terms with your inner authority figures, such as having tamed the voices of your parents and having seen them as the people they are.
Yet there is a real measure, for all Pisces, of official sanction. You are recognized as a fully legitimate member of society. Some of those do manage to pull off being quite rebellious which, needless to say, is a high priority for you in these years of your life. Just make sure that everyone in your world gets the same message: that you are your own person who makes decisions about your own destiny. No Pisces needs to be reminded that he or she lives. |
